Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Dalnara mobile application operated by Pie Nest Inc. ("we," "our," or "us"). By downloading or using Dalnara, you agree to these Terms.

1. Use of the App

Dalnara is a Korean language learning application. You may use it for personal, non-commercial educational purposes. You must be at least 13 years of age to use Dalnara.

You agree not to:

• Attempt to reverse-engineer or decompile the app
• Use automated tools to access or scrape app content
• Circumvent usage limits or rate limiting systems
• Share or resell access to Premium or add-on features
• Upload harmful, offensive, or illegal content through AI chat features

2. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Notify us immediately at support@dalnara.app if you suspect unauthorized access. We are not liable for losses resulting from unauthorized account use.

3. Subscriptions and Purchases

Free tier: Available to all users with feature limitations (3 AI sessions/day, 1 lesson/day, basic pronunciation feedback).

Premium subscription: Monthly ($9.99/month) or annual ($59.99/year), providing unlimited AI conversation, L1-aware pronunciation coaching, and full feature access. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.

Add-ons: One-time purchases that unlock specific content packs permanently on your account.

All purchases are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. Cancellation and refund policies are governed by their respective terms. To manage or cancel a subscription, visit your device's subscription settings.

4. AI-Generated Content

Dalnara uses AI to generate educational content, pronunciation feedback, and conversation responses. This content is provided for educational purposes only and may contain errors. We are not responsible for any inaccuracies in AI-generated language instruction.

You retain ownership of content you submit (text, audio). By submitting content to AI features, you grant us a limited license to process that content to provide the service.

5. Intellectual Property

All app content, design, and code is owned by Pie Nest Inc. or licensed to us. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from Dalnara's content without our written permission. Learning content (lesson text, vocabulary, scenarios) is proprietary to Pie Nest Inc.

6. Service Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice. Maintenance windows will be communicated in advance when possible.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

Dalnara is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the app will meet your learning goals, that AI feedback will be error-free, or that the service will be uninterrupted. Language learning outcomes depend on individual effort and practice.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pie Nest Inc. shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Dalnara. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months prior to the claim.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the app or by email. Continued use of Dalnara after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Seoul, Korea.
